MEET THE TEAM
The HOMEHUNTS team is international and multilingual. We all bring different qualities and strengths to the company and come from a variety of backgrounds. The team work closely together, we are in constant contact and regularly meet to discuss ways to help each other and ways to improve our services. It is extremely important for all of the team at HOMEHUNTS to really get to know our clients.
At the same time, we feel it is important for you to know who we are. This section is aimed to give you a little insight into the team of people that make up HOMEHUNTS and it allows you to put a face to the names.
FRANCOIS-XAVIER DE VIAL - Director
FRANCOIS-XAVIER DE VIAL - Director
Born in Normandy and brought up in Paris, Francois-Xavier has fifteen years experience in international sales and marketing and has traveled to more than 100 countries.
Francois settled in Marseille in 2002 with his wife and son having lived in all corners of the globe and he now loves living and working in the heart of Provence. He represented an English based estate agency in the South of France for some time before setting up HOMEHUNTS with Tim in 2004. He speaks French, English, German and Spanish.
TIM SWANNIE - Director
TIM SWANNIE - Director
Tim is English and was born in Harrogate in North Yorkshire. He has nearly 15 years experience of the property and recruitment industries across Europe with particular expertise in the UK, France and the Benelux.
Tim moved to live on the French Riviera in 2003. He was drawn to this part of the world by the weather and quality of life having been a regular visitor to the area for many years.
The idea of HOMEHUNTS was born the following year when Tim was introduced to Francois-Xavier by a close family friend. Tim is based in the Cannes area but travels extensively throughout France and overseas, he speaks English, a little Dutch and tries his best in French!

Born in Lancashire, England, Alice has lived in the South of France with her husband since 2003. Graduating in Modern Languages (French and Spanish), Alice has a background in UK banking, French accounts and administration. Alice will be working alongside the management coordinating administration, database management and accounts and providing support to the consultants.

Born in Hong Kong but now living in Biot with her French husband, Amy has a banking background in Asia and France. Besides speaking Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) fluently, she has also mastered French, English and Japanese. With more than 15 years experience as an expatriate in many Asian and European countries, Amy understands very well the expectations of our clients trying to find their dream property on the Côte dAzur. Whatever you want to know about living in France as a foreigner, ask her, she can tell you !

Celia Ford Drummond grew up in and around the Teddington, Twickenham and Richmond district in the suburbs of London.
Her mother, in a failed attempt to ‘tidy her up’, sent her to the local convent school where, luckily, she met all the wrong sort and ended up on stage.
Moving out to Berkshire, she met and worked with another ex-actor who owns an established independent estate agency.
She moved to the Fréjus area three years ago, having holidayed in this area since she was 15.
She still works as a voice over artist from her basement, appeared in a professional production of ‘Private Lives’ on the coast last year, and now enjoys finding homes or holiday retreats for others who want to ‘live the dream’

David moved with his wife Karen to Provence in 2005 having spent many holidays in the area.
Attracted by a better quality of life and climate, property is almost in David's blood having been in Estate Agency in the UK for over 25 years latterly in Partnership with one of Surrey's leading companies.
In between finding property for Home-Hunts clients David & Karen will either be found refurbishing their existing home in the Luberon or exploring the hugely varying countryside, that is in between learning French which David describes as 'patchy'!

Elin is originally from Sweden, but has lived and studied in the US, Canada and France. She has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Gothenburg School of Economics in Sweden, but she did parts of her degree at EDHEC in Nice. After about five years in the global Consulting industry, Elin is now a consultant for the Nice area where she also lives together with her fiancé who is working in Sophia Antipolis. Elin speaks Swedish, English and French.

Having worked as a First Assistant Director in the Film and Television industry, Ian has lived near Draguignan for five years with his wife, Cecilia, and their two dogs.

Jerome was Born in Corsica and began traveling around the world from an early age, enjoying meeting new cultures and people. He has lived and worked in Greece, Thaïland and Australia as well as France and Morocco. At the age of 17, Jerome was a windsurf instructor and kept on teaching this sport for years as a hobby.
He joined Home-Hunts to manage the Morrocco extension of our activities after three years in real estate in Paris (Where he missed the sunshine!). Now based in Marrakech permanently, he is much happier with the climate and loves the way of life.
He knows all the best adresses in town and will be a great guide during your stay, he can offer help and advice on all aspects of living in Morocco. He can also help you to find accomodation (his brother is in charge of a tourism group in Morocco).
Jerome is natural and reliable and will do anything to welcome and please our customers. He speaks French, fluent English and good German.

Michael has lived in France for over 25 years. Most of that time was spent in Paris where he worked in the wine business and then for British Rail International becoming their Sales Manager for France. He has owned a property in Bandol for 15 years and now lives there full time. He knows the South of France very well, in particular his local area. Michael loves the French way of life and enjoys the odd glass of the local reds and rosés.

Natalia is from Russia, she has several years experience in sales and marketing. She is based permanently in Rostov-on-Don in Russia, and provides assistance for all Russian-speaking customers. Natalia speaks English and of course, Russian.

Nicola spent over 10 years working for the BBC in News and Current Affairs and later ran training courses to teach people how to handle the media. She then moved to Zurich in 2000 where she set up her own English Pre-school which she ran for seven years. As a child she lived in Paris, and then later on in Marbella and Bahrain but always knew that she would return to live in France. She has now settled in Nîmes, in the Languedoc-Roussillon with her family and has first hand experience of the property process both in France and Europe. She has extensive knowledge of that certain “Je ne sais quoi” feeling, having been the Editor of a property/lifestyle magazine about southern France and continues to write for a number of magazines published in France and Switzerland. Nicola is the first contact for our clients, guiding them towards their ultimate property search and putting them in touch with our regional consultants. She is also responsible for producing our monthly newsletter, and handles the press and public relations image of Home Hunts

Stephane was born and bred in Nice, he has over 14 years experience of the real estate market on the French Riviera and also worked for a number of years as a relocation officer for one of the biggest companies in Monaco. Stephane has extensive contacts and experience both locally and overseas.
He is in charge of the Monaco and surrounding areas for Home Hunts.
Stephane speaks fluent French, English and basic Italian.
